Gofi Introduces The Chata Table Lamp

Gofi has released the Chata table lamp, which was made by the Barcelona design studio Goula/Figuera as a new take on traditional lighting designs. It has a white fabric shade.

The Chata lamp is available in two sizes: regular and mini.

The lampshade is made of white linen, and the base comes in oak or Sierra Elvira marble.

“In a world where LED technology has made extreme minimalism the norm, we wanted to go back to the traditional format, which is still the best at giving off warmth and comfort,” Gofi said.

The flat design of the lamp allows users to place it close to walls, between bookcases, or on narrow shelves.

“From the front, the lampshade looks cube-like, but it’s surprisingly flat from the side. That’s why it’s called Chata, which means both “flat” and “dear” in Spanish,” the company said.

Gofi’s Fa Mini light won Spain’s Golden Delta award just before Chata came out.
