The structure measures approximately 150 meters by 70 meters. It stands tall with a height of about 26 meters. It claims to be the largest wooden structure in the whole world.
This famous erection consists of six parasols that resemble giant mushrooms. The design took inspiration from the vaults of the Cathedral of Seville and ficus trees.
The Four Different Levels Of The Structure
The structure is organized into four different levels. The underground level houses an Antiquarium. The place displays Roman and Moorish remains that were discovered on site.
After the underground or zero levels comes the street level is also known as Level 1. It houses a central market. This level is the surface of an open-air public plaza. The place is shaded by wooden parasols that were designed for public events.
The second and third levels include a panoramic terrace housing a restaurant that offers an aesthetic view of the city center.
