GamFratesi’s homey table for Poltrona Frau
GamFratesi, a Danish-Italian design studio, made the legs of the Homey table for the Italian company Poltrona Frau out of aluminium folded in a strange way.

The die-cast aluminium base of the Homey table is folded together at the legs to create a flowing, shadowy line to the floor.
“The essence of Homey is expressed in its die-cast aluminium legs,” Poltrona Frau said.

“The two-leg flaps fold and join together without touching, creating a chiaroscuro effect in the centre, in a sculptural play reminiscent of haute couture.”
The base can be paired with a wooden or marble top with a slender profile that adds to Homey’s light and visual appearance.

Homey is available in four sizes and two shapes: rectangular and square.
Its name comes from the fact that it is meant to be a place where people can gather in the home.
