Opinion Ciatti’s Minimalist Furniture And Sculptural Chairs Feature
Opinion: Ciatti, an Italian brand, unveiled a collection of contemporary furniture, including a freestanding bookcase inspired by book lovers and a stool inspired by horseback riding saddles.
The Yum Yum seating collection comprises pouffe-style seats with a curved ash wood backrest. It is intended for use in waiting rooms and offices.
According to Ciatti, the seat embodies “joy, conviviality, discovery, and imagination.”

Seating options include a single armchair, an extra-large armchair, and a two-seater sofa. Yum Yum is available in various fabrics and colours, and each model features a pocket on the side of the seat.
The Loomi armchair is designed to provide both comfort and privacy. It features a padded seat and a wide backrest and is available in fabric or leather finishes.
Additionally, the sculptural chair features an optional swivel table that “easily transforms it into an independent and functional microcosm,” according to the brand.
Ptolomeo is a minimalist bookcase composed of thin shelves that, when filled with books, appear “invisible.”

The design resembles a stack of books but has the added benefit of being a stable structure.
Bruno Rainaldi created Ptolomeo for Opinion Ciatti to pay tribute to books and book lovers.
Raffaella Mangiarotti drew inspiration for the Pepe stool for Opinion Ciatti from horse-riding saddles’ aesthetic and ergonomic qualities.
The seat is sculptural and features hand-stitched leather upholstery reminiscent of the Wild West.

Macis, which the brand describes as “nomadic,” can be used as a table or a desk and is equipped with an aluminium roller that connects two table legs, allowing users to move around quickly.
Macis is a slim tablet with a steel structure and a thin tabletop. Users can add an under-top drawer and a cork panel that doubles as a display board.
Opinion Rolando Ciatti founded Ciatti, an Italian furniture brand, in 1950. The brand creates and manufactures furnishings and accessories for homes, offices, and public spaces.
